Ushering in your best reality
Many of you may be finding yourselves overly anxious and out of touch with yourselves and the happiness you desire in life. From our experience, the reasons for this can be two fold:
1. Your spirit guides have a message for you.
2. You are taking on the anxieties and worries of others and making them your own.
For many of you, it may be a mix of both; your spirit guides are reaching out to tell you that the second point is true. You are being empathetic to the feelings of others, so much so that you take on others' anxieties as your own. This is especially true when that person is a close friend or family member. While we always want what's best for the important people in our lives, it's important that our own inner peace is also protected.

Along with our spirit team, we've put together a list of tips for you to put into practice to help realign your peace and eliminate anxiety and worry in your life. We urge you to follow these for a few weeks and see how your energy and outlook on life shift.
1. Find ways to release the anxiety you are feeling. What brings you joy? Do you have hobbies you enjoy? Do you love hiking? Or perhaps painting? At least once a week (or more if you can), give yourself an hour or so to enjoy a hobby or pastime just for yourself! This gives you an opportunity to release any stagnant feelings and make space for peace.
2. When you are entering difficult conversations or situations, protect your energy. Imagine a bubble of white light around yourself and trust that only peace and love will remain in your bubble. Any negativity that comes your way "bounces" off your bubble and is returned as love to the outside person/people.
3. Have you ever tried journalling? It can be a great way to get your emotions out. Sometimes there is so much going on in our heads we lose track of what's important, and ideas meld together and become muddled. Try writing down how you feel at the end of the day as a release. In the morning, you can also write down how you'd like your day to go. Those are just a few ideas for journaling prompts to get that positive energy flowing.
4. If you feel that a specific person or people have an emotional tie penetrating your bubble of peace, you can imagine "cutting a cord" with that person, even just temporarily, to prevent their negative energy from draining yours. That is not to say you become distant from that person, just keep your peace to yourself, allowing you to help anyone around you from a place of calm and connectedness.
We hope these tips help you! They are all things we at Backyard Wellness try to do in our daily lives to keep us calm and connected. We find times of energetic turmoil are a way for your soul to clear out and filter out any energy that no longer serves you. Trust that it will pass, you just have to allow the energy to pass through you, clear out, and make choices that align with the reality you want to be in.
