Measuring success through your own lens
Success is fleeting and measured only by comparing yourself to others. Comparison, then, is an act of violence toward oneself. When you measure your own success through someone else's lens and by someone else's definition, you are limiting your own growth. You are confining your development to the boundaries someone else has set. And guess what? Those boundaries probably don't apply to your own life.
"Comparison...is an act of violence toward oneself."
Instead, gauge your worth by the level of your personal happiness, remembering that it comes from within. Use that as your guidance and you will be more successful than you could ever imagine.
This week, set goals for yourself. Make a list of tasks you've been avoiding, and decide what success feels like to you. Not sure where to start? Book a session with us, and we can help you find your path!
