Dance it Out

Moving to the beat of your own drum


Let us paint a picture for you. Two sisters, dancing around the living room in matching home-made pajama costumes, dad videotaping to indefinitely memorialize the questionable dance moves. A fond memory of ours from an even fonder childhood. But why dancing? Well, to burn off energy. What better way to tire out a pair of energetic kids.


The amazing part is, we never outgrew this habit. Fast forward to us as adults, "ugly dancing" around the kitchen to Lean On by Major Lazer and DJ Snake. Dancing has always been our cathartic release. It's been a way for us to understand our emotions, feel the rhythm, get in touch with the earth, and become balanced and more open to the universe. Of course, it's also fun.

This week, we urge you to dance it out. Or swim it out. Or Jog it out. Or breathe it out. Pick your poison and get moving! Release the stagnant energy and feel the spark of the universe move through you.
