A Message for Fall

From the words of Rebezza

Welcome pumpkin spice lattes, leggings and sweaters, cozy fires, apple cider, and colourful leaves. Welcome autumn breezes and cooler weather, back to school and impending snow. Fall is a time of change, not only in the weather, but also in ourselves. Today's message from Rebezza, Juliana's spirit guide, is about how we can best deal with the changing of the seasons.

"...draw parallels between what you observe around you, and what you sense shifting within yourself."

No need to fear the autumn nights, or lament the summer days. Each new season is beautiful in their own way, you just have to learn to see how. In this next quadrant of the year, the leaves lose their chlorophyll, revealing the true beauty that lies within. Is there not a metaphor you can derive for your own life there? I will not spell it out for you, for that is your challenge - to draw parallels between what you observe around you, and what you sense shifting within yourself.

This season, learn to slow down. Accept that the pace you were following in the prior months is unsustainable, and frankly, unnecessary. Even the trees slow down their food production to ready themselves for the winter.

My message today is short, just like the wonder-filled and vibrant part of fall. Take advantage of the beauty before the days transition to grey and dreary, and your soul no longer has the drive to be vibrant. Accept that it's okay to change, and it's okay to become something new in the slow pace of incubation.
